Editing Blog
Today, I started to edit our commercial. Before today, I did not know a single thing about editing videos. This made me feel like I would be no help to the group. Instead of sitting there and not being a part of the team, a partner in my group taught me a simple way of how to edit and peace the clips together. From there, I collaborated with the group discussing Which clips were better than the other, so that we were able to use them for our commercial. At first, I sent all of the videos that I filmed from my phone to a group chat that we had made a few days prior for the project. From there, I transferred all the videos onto one phone and started the editing process. After I had added all of the videos that we had filmed, our timestamp came out to be one minute. From there, knowing that our commercial had to be 30 seconds or less, I had work to do. I went from clip to clip, deleting the videos that did not outperform others. After that process, I continued to add the best clips to use for our commercial. This left our final time at around 32 seconds. Seeing our process of cutting down about 28 seconds of the commercial made us feel more confident. All I had to do from here, was cut about a half of a second to complete our task. I feel that we had used the best scenes possible To make our commercial for your professional. The timestamp for our commercial has now come out to be 28.5 seconds. After that, I realized that the period for this class was almost over, so I saved some work for the next class period. The last part I need to work on with my group is to pick some sort of song and add the Adidas slogan, as I had drawn in our storyboard. After my group and I finish that, we will be submitting our final project.
