AICE Media Studies

For my final task, I had to choose up to 3 people to add to my group. Throughout the first half of the school year, I had worked with many people and was able to see who would be an asset to my group! For my first task, I partnered up with Ely Silverberg, Jade Walrave, and Katie Weiss. These people all added an important aspect to my commercial. One of my partners, Ely, I had met online in my freshman year of high school while enrolled in AICE General Paper. He helped my group as he was able to provide dates and times for filming and editing. Another group member I had worked with, Jade, I had met through a mutual friend in AICE Media Studies. Jade, was a great actress and was able to provide costumes and props for the final task. Lastly, I had met Katie online during my freshman school, as we were in three mutual classes together which were debate, AICE General paper, and AICE marine.      Hello, my name is Mya Hauser and I am a sophomore in high school. I live in Hollywood, Florida, and grew up with a little sister, parents, and a dog. At first, when I was trying to pick an elective to enroll In, my first choice was AICE Media Studies. However, it was not available to me since I was a freshman in High School. Throughout the year, when it was time to pick classes and electives for the 2021 to 2022 school year, I made the choice to enroll in AICE Media Studies. My main reasoning for this was because I really enjoyed watching movies and TV shows, and shortly after looking at videos of the behind-the-scenes and editing. I was always fascinated with this part of films, so, I wanted to try for myself, and be guided through the tasks and procedures to create a film.
