Another Day at Filming
Today, my group and I met up again at the same location to continue filming. Again, we all got dressed in our costumes, however we couldn’t find one of my actor’s costume. After searching for a while, I finally found it, left in the guest bathroom. Then after we all got re-dressed, I started exactly where I left off by filming for the next scene. I put my actor, Katie, in the same location, in front of the front door. I filmed her using a close-up shot and zoomed into her head to show what she was thinking of in her head. After filming, I used a male classmate as an actor for our music video. He didn’t bring any dress clothes, so I used Katie’s closet to try and pull his outfit together. The best I could pull together as a costume was men's jeans and a woman’s blazer. He looked a little silly, but he agreed to be filmed in the video. I filmed two actors using a spin-shot as the actors were standing back-to-back. After a few shots, I had realized the scene was bland, so I helped direct the scene and told the male actor to sing and the female actor to dance with him halfway through the shot. After multiple shots, I had decided that I had taken a great shot of this scene, so I moved on. To represent a Point-of-View shot, I held the camera close to an actor’s face to represent their view of the scene. I had called over Katie’s mom to help film the next scene, since all actors will be present in this scene. She filmed us all jumping and having fun during the party scene. From there, there was a costume change, as one of my actor’s had to pretend to be a DJ for our music video. I dressed them in a fake money chain, a hoodie, and styled their hair with a hat to make them look like a guy. I filmed the scene as my actor was throwing their hands in the air. For our last scene, I had Katie’s mom help with the filming again, as me and my other group members were in the scene. I had jumped around during this shot, and ended with a super high jump.
